PRIVACY

Minimum data by design.

This notice explains how cs7.uk and Drop handle information when you read our content or transfer files.

01

Direct file transfers

Drop sends file contents through an encrypted WebRTC connection between the paired browsers whenever the network permits. Drop does not receive, inspect, index, sell, or store those file contents.

02

Temporary pairing data

The signalling service processes short-lived room identifiers, hashed access tokens, connection identifiers, and technical request data required to establish a session. Pairing records expire automatically after approximately two hours.

03

Advertising

The informational pages on cs7.uk use Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies and process IP address, browser or device information, consent choices, and ad interactions to provide, secure, and measure advertising.

04

Transfer screens stay ad-free

Google advertising code is not loaded on drop.cs7.uk. Advertisers are not given transferred file contents, private session links, QR codes, file names, or transfer activity by Drop.

05

Your choices

Where required, Google’s certified consent platform presents advertising choices before personalised advertising technologies are used. You may refuse consent or manage individual options through that message.

06

Operational security

Operational logs are minimised and used to protect reliability and security. They are not intended to contain transferred file contents, access tokens, or private URL fragments.
